Contact us

Email [email protected] and we will get back to you. Please include your account email, the name of your school or organisation, and — if you are reporting a problem — the device and app version you are using (Settings → About).

We answer support email within two working days.

Getting started

Students. Sign in with your email address, or with Google or Apple. Ask your teacher for your class join code and enter it once — this sends a join request, and your teacher approves it. Once approved, assigned work appears on your dashboard. Open a quiz, answer directly on the document, and submit. Grades appear under the same assignment once your teacher releases them.

Teachers. Create an organisation, add a class, and share its join code with your students. To build a quiz, upload a PDF or worksheet, draw answer zones over it, set the correct answers and marks, then assign it to a class. Objective questions are marked automatically; everything else lands in your marking queue.

Common questions

I cannot sign in. Use the same method you signed up with. If you first signed up with Google or Apple, that button — not a password — is how you get back in. If you use a password and have forgotten it, use "Forgot password" on the sign-in screen.

My join code does not work. Join codes are six characters and are case-insensitive. If it is rejected, the class may have been archived or the code regenerated — ask your teacher to re-share it.

I submitted but there is no grade. Grades stay hidden until your teacher releases them for the class. Questions that need a human to read them are marked by your teacher rather than automatically.

Does the app work offline? No. Submitz needs a connection to load an assignment and to submit it. Answers you type are kept as a draft on the device until the submission goes through.

I am not getting notifications. Allow notifications for Submitz in your device settings, then sign out and back in so the device re-registers.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your Submitz account from inside the app at any time: More → Settings → Delete account. The same option is on the web at Settings. No email to us is required.

Deleting your account permanently removes your account record, your sign-in identity, your submitted responses and drafts, the grades and feedback attached to them, your class enrolments, your push-notification tokens, and your biometric identity record if your organisation used one. This cannot be undone.

Files you uploaded as answers are stored separately from the database and are removed on their own cycle, so they may persist for a short period after the account record is gone. Content authored by a teacher — quizzes, documents and classes belonging to an organisation — stays with that organisation, because it belongs to the school rather than to the individual account. Billing records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Aggregated data that can no longer identify you is not deleted.

If you own an organisation that still has classes or students, the app will ask you to transfer or delete it first, so that deleting your account cannot take a whole school's work with it.

If you cannot sign in to delete the account yourself, email [email protected] from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will verify you own the address and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Privacy and terms

Students' work is visible to the teachers of the classes they are enrolled in and to the administrators of their organisation. We do not sell personal data and we do not show advertising.
